Every level allows your Dog to jump higher.
To ride your Dog, have an Empty Hand then Rapidly Right-click the Dog at least Twice to get on.
Wolf Mount Status Overlay
Since DTN 1.18.51, mounting a dog displays a dedicated status overlay instead of the vanilla vehicle hearts. This overlay shows the percentage of the dog's Health, Hunger, and Air, allowing for better monitoring of your companion's condition during travel.
Carry Me
You can command a nearby Wolf Mount dog to come and pick you up using the Carry Me mode on the Whistle.

- DTN 1.18.51 introduced the dedicated status overlay for Health, Hunger, and Air.

- Couple with Hell Hound talent to make traveling in Lava lakes a breeze! Note that you need to increase the dog's size with the Magnifying Bone for your hitbox not to touch lava.
